ABOUT THE HONOREES

Elizabeth A. Kaveny, is a Chicago trial attorney with over 30 years of experience in plaintiff’s personal injury law. Beth is the Managing Partner at Kaveny + Kroll, founded in 2019, and has been recognized by numerous publications and organizations over the years, including Super Lawyers’ Top 10 overall attorneys for the State of Illinois. Beth’s commitment to giving back extends beyond her clients and their families, as a longtime member of countless boards and nonprofit organizations, including the Illinois Bar Foundation, where she served as a member of the Board of Directors from 2010-18, as President from 2016-17, and an ongoing supporter as a Gold Champion.

John G. Locallo, Partner at Amari & Locallo, is a Certified Public Accountant and property tax attorney focused on representing owners, property manager and tenants in the reduction of real estate taxes on a local and nationwide basis. He also serves as the supervisor of the firm’s litigation department, which involves representation of major property tax clients before the Circuit Court of Cook County. John is a true leader in the legal community, serving as President of the Illinois State Bar Association from 2011-12, as well as President of the the Chicago-Kent Law School Alumni Association Board and the Justinian Society of Lawyers. He served for a number of years on the Board of the National Conference of Bar Presidents and on our very own Illinois Bar Foundation Board of Directors for 8 years. John continues to serve as a member of the ISBA Mutual Insurance Company Board and as a Lifetime Champion of the IBF.

Proceeds of this event will benefit the Illinois Bar Foundation (IBF). The IBF’s mission is to ensure meaningful access to the justice system, especially for those with limited means, and to assist lawyers  who have fallen on hard times.
