Distinguished Award for Excellence

Each year at the Illinois Bar Foundation’s annual Gala, one recipient is awarded our highest honor, the Distinguished Award of Excellence.  The award is given to an individual whose career and personal life exemplify their ongoing commitment to the law and legal community.

October 2026 Recipient

Larry R. Rogers, Jr.

We hope that you will join us on Friday, October 16, 2026 at the Four Seasons Hotel in Chicago as we honor Larry R. Rogers, Jr. of Power Rogers, LLP. Mr. Rogers’ leadership in the Illinois legal and philanthropic communities coupled with his dedication to serving others through the practice of law have made him exceedingly worthy of the Foundation’s highest honor, the Distinguished Award for Excellence, particularly in our 75^th anniversary year where we aim to both celebrate past achievements and look forward to a more equitable Illinois for all.
